Description: |
Boyz II Men is an opportunity for Christian men to grow as men of God
in a safe community of like-minded brothers. Our goal is to challenge
each other and foster genuine, tangible growth across the spectrum of
our lives - from the church to the workplace to life at home. Using
"The Good and Beautiful God" as a template, we will reflect on our
lives and the world around us through journaling, homework,
discussion, and accountability. |

Description: |
The vision of Iron Sharpens Iron (ISI) is to build a community of men who take seriously the call to become more Christ-like. We will do this by studying Scripture, discussing the book The Good and Beautiful God (by James Bryan Smith), sharing about our lives, identifying concrete ways in which we can apply what we are learning to our lives, and encouraging our members to support, challenge, and sharpen one another. Ultimately, our hope is that the members of ISI will go on to serve as leaders in the church. |

Description: |
In our group, we intend on studying why God has made us different and look to celebrate these differences. It is through these challenges and celebrations that we grow closer to God and learn what Christ-like serving truly means. We would like to encourage couples to be as intentional and energetic in their relationship as they were when they were courting. They should develop a lifelong pattern showing daily, unconditional love to their spouses. We will be using Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas as the foundations for our discussion. In his book, Thomas teaches, “Your marriage is more than a sacred covenant with another person. It is a spiritual discipline designed to help you know God best. |

Description: |
The primary purpose of this group is to, “…consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” (Hebrews 10:24) We understand that God has created and called each of us to be agents of creation, renewal and reconciliation. However, so often we become distracted by our own sin and self-absorption. Thus, this group exists to encourage one another to stay focused on actively engaging in the battles we face all around us, so that we can become more effective leaders, servants and followers of Christ. |

The primary purpose of this group is to pursue knowing Christ better and becoming more like him through an in depth study of a book of the Bible (to be determined by the group) and how it applies to our lives. By meeting together for fellowship, study, mutual edification and prayer, we hope to create space in our busy lives to allow God to speak to us and for us to listen and respond. |

Description: |
I'm beginning a new small group. The purpose is to gather weekly to grow in our knowledge and love for God and His word, and by His grace be changed by it. The format is based upon Bible reading marathons that I've heard about and wanted to try. We'll devote over an hour each week to reading God's word. Simply that. No discussion, just taking turns reading out loud. We'll certainly have opportunity to reflect, respond, and ask questions about the sections read each week; but the big idea is just to refresh & renew our minds and hearts by reading this Good Book. We'll certainly allow time to discuss sections as desired. We'll also be
sure to connect with each other personally and make time to pray for one another. |
